Home Device Bridge Solution (HDB), which was independently developed and adopted as the HDB standard in the Linux Foundation in September 2016, is not only a Wi-Fi communication standard, but also contains various IoT communication standards such as ZigBee and Z-wave. It is an IoT solution product that connects sensor devices through an open platform called AllJoyn. This is characterized by being able to expand the smart home ecosystem, and it can provide various types of automation scenarios to users.

In addition, HDB is implemented and developed as a small dongle-type device such as a USB memory stick, so it can be easily connected to any device that can supply USB power, such as an existing router inside the home. Through this, users can use the service of the home device bridge dongle and sensor to receive a notification on their smartphone when a leak in the sink is detected, and automatically turn off the power of small household appliances such as coffee pots and pressure cookers. You can build a convenient living environment by yourself.

Meanwhile, 'Mobile World Congress 2017' will be held at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2, 2017 under the theme of 'Mobile: The Next Element'. Innovative products, services, and technologies that embody the mobile ecosystem were presented under one roof.
